Summary
Certified Surgical Tech performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room. Certified Surgical Tech performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.
Qualifications

 <li>Graduate of a formal accredited surgical technician-training program.</li>
 <li>Graduate of a formal accredited training program</li>
 <li>Surgical technology certification required.</li>
 <li>CPR certification.</li>

Summary

Qualifications
 
Minimum Education:

 <li>Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT) (RT)</li>
 <li>An Additional Registration by the American Registry in (CT) or (M) or (NM) or (MR)</li>
 <li>Texas Medical Board in Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT)</li>
 <li>CPR/BLS required (AHA).</li>

TRA Mammographer 

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts.  Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency. 

The TRA Mammography Tech performs diagnostic Mammographic exams, verifys patient identity, reviews patient’s medical record for appropriateness of exam or procedure.  Explains procedure to patient, Sets up equipment and acquires appropriate images as per script. Reviews images, makes initial observations, documents exceptions from established protocols and communicates data to radiologist.

Preferred Education
BS in Radiology or equivalent

State License - if required
