Qualifications Minimum Education, Training &amp; Experience (includes licenses or certifications): Education: * ASN from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. * BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TEAM required. ICS 100 Hcb, 200,700; ECS 701; 703; 704; 800 * Current applicable state RN licensure. Experience: * Minimum three years staff nurse experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. * Knowledge of clinical and nursing unit function and access to resources both administrative and organizational. * Able to perform nursing techniques and procedures included in the nursing skills list and all documented nursing competencies as defined in the designed RN job descriptions. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: * Must be self-directed with strong communication skills, and a willingness to lead by example. Oral and written communication skills. Positive interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to cope with physical and emotional demands of a dynamic environment. * Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g, email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, voicemail and internet/intranet) to access, organize and store job-related information. * Firmly believes in, and practices the Planetree philosophy in their daily work
