This is such a great hospital, I’ve made several trips back to them and I’m looking at possibly going staff after 7 years of travel nursing. That says a LOT about this place! They have several staff members who started there as travelers and are now staff. Fair ratios, strong union hospital, and in a great location in Oregon if you like the mountains and exploring outdoors. It was well worth the cross country drive for this east coast girl!

The PCU provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.# EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. GSR PCU 2S: One (1) year M/S RN experience required. PCU experience preferred. One (1) year experience in an acute care setting required. ACLS required within six (6) months of hire. TNCC required within one (1) year of hire. Cross train to ICU within one (1) year, unless other arrangements are made with Management. Basic EKG experience preferred. Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Social Perceptiveness: Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
