Minimum Qualifications/Requirements of a FirstChoice Nurse:
  • Registered nurse with a license in the state(s) you will work
  • Minimum of 2 years, depending on specialty area
  • Willingness to float between facilities
  • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility

The acuity levels changes depending on which room assignments you’re given. I’ve had 1:3 or 1:6. Overall the nurses are all kind and welcoming of travelers. The physicians are also kind and work well with staff. There is a lot of onboarding of new grads, which isn’t bad given that it’s a smaller ER. I enjoyed my time at this facility and would recommend other travelers to apply
