Advanced Travel Therapy is seeking a talented Respiratory Therapist near Washington, DC. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions and monitoring patient progress.

Other responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist position include:

  • Collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, PT/OT/SLP therapists and nursing assistants
  • Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan
  • Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Performing timely and accurate documentation
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Teaching and counseling patients/families
