Job Description & Requirements
Registered Respiratory Therapist - (RRT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1250.00 - 1600.00

3+ years of experience. MUST have experience and highly competent in Adult ICU/Critical Care. Epic experience preferred. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs all Respiratory Care procedures that are ordered by a physician within the departmental scope of service. The RRT gathers information, sets up and operates basic and complex equipment, monitors and records all procedures performed in accordance with department policy and procedure manual. The RRT has demonstrated the ability to perform complex procedures and the critical thinking skills required to serve the critical patients in the Intensive Care Units. Serves patients with regards to age specific/cultural diversity needs. Performs other duties as assigned for the optimum performance of the department. Educational/ Licensure Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist Current SD RCP License - South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. BLS and ACLS certification required. Must be actively credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a RRT. ICU experience preferred.
