The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. Administer medical substances for imaging or other procedures. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.

Requirements

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred 

  • ARRT or NMTCB: Preferred

  • CNMT Certification: Required

  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI

  • State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT): Required

  • Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
