Director of Medical Staff Services

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to fill an opening with a healthcare system in the Tallahassee, FL area.

Daily Responsibilities for the Director of Medical Staff Services: 

• Oversees the coordination of Medical Staff Services, including the credentialing, appointment/reappointment, and evaluation of Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Professionals
• Accountable for managing the preparation, coordination, and follow-up tasks essential for upholding hospital accreditation and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and external regulatory mandates concerning the Medical Staff Organization
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-10 hour days

Required Qualifications for Director of Medical Staff Services:

• 5+ years of medical staffing setting experience
  • Must have experience in regulatory, staffing in acute care
• Strong credentialing background
• Recent Acute Care experience (within the past 2 years)
• Must have a solid foundation in acute care
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Certifications: Current Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) with the National Association Medical Staff Services (required within 6 months of hire)

Pay Details:

• $95,000 - $130,000 (Can increase depending on experience)
