Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVPICU
Shift/Hours: Variable D/N, 7p-7a / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Must be available to work holidays - 4th of July and Memorial Day weekend coverage needed.
Requirements:

• CA license
• 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment
• BLS
• PALS
• PEDS Cardiac experience
• Heart transplant experience
• Experience in Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation

Willing to float between unitsTraveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and EDFlu shot required
Other Details:
DON’T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**

Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.
Shifts: (discussed in interview)• 3x12 variable shifts• 13 week contracts
Requested Time Off:6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)Must be available to work holidays - 4th of July and Memorial Day weekend coverage needed*Self scheduling!
Ratio:1:1-2
Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD’s and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23.
CVICU: />Flu shot required
Unit: Cardio Vascular ICU-Hospital - Rose Pavilion, RC100-1045-1010
