This is a surgical and cath lab population. RN’s must have experience with chest tubes, epicardial wires, sheath/radial band management. Must be familiar with cardiac drips i.e Amiodarone, NTG, Cardizem, etc. RN ratio is 4:1 on days and 4-5:1 on nights.
