Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Holiday Requirement: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Yes, 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Requirements:

• LA License
• 2 years experience
• Epic experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH & CPI
• OCN & CCRN preferred

Other details:

• Floating Contract Staff are expected to float to all adult critical care units and may float to ED or PACU to care for ICU patients in those areas. There may be occasions when ICU Contract RN is reassigned to Medical Surgical unit and assigned to care for max of 4 patients in that area and or assigned to function as helping hands

Unit Info: Patients pre and post-kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants. This unit frequently manages patients with encephalopathy, r/o kidney rejection, acute kidney injury, elevated creatinine, or patients that require esophageal tamponade. Transplant patients stay on unit until discharge and when stepped down from ICU status, they are staffed at 1:3 ratio. Bedside Conscious SedationType of equipment includes but is not limited to the following: Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, NxStage dialysis, Veratron Bladder Scanner, & Arctic Sun TMS
