DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Staff Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her and to direct others in patient care in the#Cath Lab, Cardio Diagnostic areas, and may be assigned to assist in Cardiac Rehabilitation. # QUALIFICATIONS # Professional/Educational Current RN Illinois license. Completion of cardiac arrhythmia recognition course. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire date. Two years of critical care experience preferred. Completion of a critical care course. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. # Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
