Registered Nurse (RN) - Seasonal Contract Post Surgical Unit Nights

Requirements: * FL RN license * Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred * BLS & ACLS certifications through ARC or AHA * 2 years' minimum Med/Surg experience preferred. About the Job * Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care to patients post surgery * Common post surgical patients: Mix of Ortho, General and Bariatrics. * Med/Surg overflow if needed * Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse * Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills * Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Santa Rosa Medical Center, located in Milton, Florida, is more than just a healthcare institution; it's a place where your career can truly flourish.
