Job Description The Director of ICU will provide guidelines for proper direction and motivation to all personnel under his/her jurisdiction. Directs and coordinates patient safety, performance improvement and Joint Commission standards of the ICU Department. Acts as a role model for patient satisfaction and quality of care. This position requires knowledge of all aspects of patient care including assessing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the patients progress through the entire continuum of care. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master's preferred. Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years critical care unit experience, including 3 years of management or supervisory experience preferred Licenses/Certificates: Current Florida Registered Professional Nurse License; BLS and ACLS required INDPR
