Corporate Wellness Nurse (RN) - Jacksonville & vicinity (Part-Time - Mon - Thurs/32 Hours)

Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Peak Health (McGriff Insurance) seeks and RN to focus on clients in the Northeast Florida area including Jacksonville with occasional travel to our clients in Port Orange, Tallahassee, Dayton Beach, St. Augustine, along with Savannah and Statesboro GA. This is a part-time role, 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Travel time is local in these areas and is included in your schedule. Travel outside the area is sometimes required. Successful candidate will be a licensed RN with a multi-state license in the state of Florida. Registered Nurse travels to assigned client's employment site to provide health evaluations for participants. May conduct evaluation via teleconference when no site is available. Peak Health provides wellness programs for various organizations (clients). Nurses will help individuals to identify their risk factors, assist with establishing individual goals and motivate/coach participants to change lifestyle behaviors in order to change the risk factors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Registered nurse travels to assigned client employment site to provide health evaluations for the participants, including: a. Reviewing the individually completed Health History Questionnaire b. Reviewing and interpreting individual blood lab test results c. Obtaining individual weight, blood pressure, pulse, body fat or body mass, and fitness level. d. Establishing individual goals by making recommendations for improving the individual's health risk. 2. May conduct evaluation via teleconference when no site is available. 3. May perform other tasks as assigned by Clinical Wellness Manager. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Valid Registered Nursing License for state(s) in which they meet (call) program participants 2. Professional Liability Insurance certificate 3. Valid CPR certification 4. Valid Driver's License 5. Working vehicle and current personal auto insurance 6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications 7.
