Job Description: Position: SUMMER SESSION School Nurses (Related Services) Program/Department: Special Education Position Length: July 1, 2024 - July 31, 2024 (+ 1 day PMT Training 6/26/2024), Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm (Closed July 4th & 5th for holiday) Salary Range: TBD Anticipated Start Date: 7/1/2024 (+ 1 day of PMT Training on 6/26/2024 - if required) Closing date of applications: 5/24/2024 Qualifications: Candidates must have a CT State License from the Department of Health. Candidates with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and experience working with students with special needs are preferred. See attached job description. Responsibilities: School Nurses needed to provide health services to students in self-contained special education program. Dispense medications, assess student illness, provide first aide.
