Responsibilities: * Supervises and coordinates personnel delivery of nursing care on assigned shift to ensure quality nursing care * Accurately transcribes and carries out physicians' orders. * Explains procedures and treatments to Resident to gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension. * Administers treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. * Assists in development and implementation of Resident Care Plan; updates care plan as needed. * Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment and examination of Resident. * Observes Resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or Physician of Resident's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents. * Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol. * Inventories and requisitions supplies to ensure quality nursing care. Qualifications: * PA RN License required.
