City/State Norfolk, VA Overview Work Shift Third (Nights) (United States of America) Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a RN Traveler for the IMCU Admissions/Discharge Unit! This is a Temporary Full Time Night Shift Position. Must have two or more years of current RN acute care hospital experience. Contracts begin soon for 14+ weeks. $75 per hour for a contract and Potential $5000 Sign on Bonus. Eligible for $5000 Sign on Bonus living more than 50 miles from the facility working. Department/Position Overview: This is a 16 bed Unit. The Nurse: Patient Ratio is 1:4 to 1:5. Patient Population: IMC/Med Surg- Anticipate DKA, Alcohol Withdrawal, COPD exacerbation, Sickle Cell crisis, CHF exacerbation, Renal Failure, Dehydration, I&D The Registered Nurse will work in a collaborative role as part of a team to maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice, in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families, and the community.
