Registered Nurse (RN) - CVS Cardiology

Job Description ECU Health About The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is the region's preferred facility for cardiovascular care. The six-story tower houses clinical space, diagnostic services and cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery. Position Summary * The Staff Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinical care and supervise department partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes. * The Staff Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span. * The Staff Nurse possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and can interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his/her age and condition. Minimum Requirements * American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification * Current license as a RN in the state of North Carolina. * Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice. * Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
