City/State Hampton, VA Overview Work Shift First (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Health is hiring a Manager, Patient Care Services, RN for Cardiac Rehab at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. This is a full time, day shift position. Job Description: * Responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. * Models and leads professional practices consistent with organizational goals of safety, customer satisfaction and quality for the area of expertise. * Supervises staff, provides clinical/ technical expertise and engages in process improvements. * Assists in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing and supply cost management. * Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. * Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. * Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility. Job Requirements: * Education: Bachelor's Level Degree in Nursing (BSN) * Licensure: RN License * Required: Strong clinical care knowledge base in either Cardiac Rehab, Intensive Care, Cath Lab or Cardiac Care Unit. Must have 3 years of relevant clinical practice and 3 years of healthcare management experience. BLS within 90 days of hire.
