Maryland Endoscopy Center is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy. We have multiple procedure rooms with state-of-the-art safety and diagnostic equipment, in addition to recovery bays for added privacy and convenient parking. Fast-paced, three room endoscopy center looking for a self-motivated, team oriented nurse to complement our hardworking, dedicated staff. We are currently searching for a FT Registered Nurse to work Mondays - Fridays, 4-5 days per week, who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Must be willing to assume other responsibilities that contribute to the effective running of the center. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
