Our Critical Care unit is a 24 bed ICU/Intermediate care unit. Our multidisciplinary team of providers, nurses and respiratory therapists work together to provide our patients with exceptional care in a great team environment. Our spacious and modern unit allows our teams to perform at the highest level while providing our patients with a healing environment. Minimum Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing * Currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut * Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner Preferred Qualifications: * One year of acute care nursing experience (step down or ICU preferred) * Telemetry experience * BSN or ADN/ASN and actively enrolled in a BSN program * Certification in PCCN or CCRN encouraged * Epic experience * ACLS (will be required upon completion of orientation)
