It is the intent of Dr. Guerrero and his staff at Essex Endoscopy Center to provide top quality and compassionate gastroenterological medical care in a clean and friendly environment. We are currently searching for a (Per diem) Registered Nurse to work Saturdays from 6:40am to 1:30pm, who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
