Registered Nurse - Commonwealth

Commonwealth Place, located in East Syracuse is a residential treatment facility for alcohol and drug patients.# Service includes medical and bio-psychosocial assessment, treatment planning and daily therapy programs.# Therapy programs include individual and group therapy, Chemical Dependency education and education on related topics, activities of daily living therapy, medical follow up and continued care planning A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital.# This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties. # Education/Experience Requirements Required:## Graduate of an accredited associate degree Two (2) years Medical/Surgical experience Preferred:## Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree ########### *Bachelor#s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017. Licensure/Certification Requirements Required:## Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: Certification in a specialty area.
