Camp Nurse

BB Camp's Overnight Camp is looking for nurses or medical professionals to care for our camp community this summer! Our programs run from mid-June to mid-August along the beautiful Oregon coast in Lincoln City, OR. The Camp Nurse provides direct care to program participants for various injuries and illnesses that arise; provides first aid care to campers and staff, oversees the administration and distribution of medications, and organizes and maintains electronic documentation. Applicants should be passionate about ensuring the well-being and general safety of children and staff members. The Camp Nurse will work alongside our Wellness Center team, which is composed of summer wellness center staff and our year-round directors. We are specifically looking to fill the spot of June 25th - July 16th, 2023. All three weeks are preferred. The Camp Nurse lives on Camp and is on-call; scheduled medication administration 3x per day in addition to select office hours. Pay is $1,000 per week, includes room and board, and all meals. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be a Nurse Practitioner, PA, RN or LPN and must hold an Oregon license (or temporary license). * Enjoy working with kids 7-17 years old. * Hard working, enthusiastic and committed to protecting the safety and well-being of campers and staff on site. * Good communication with campers, staff and parents. * Must complete required training. * Must pass a background check.
