The Monitor Technician is responsible for the on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RN's and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. REQUIRED * High school diploma or GED * Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support * Less than one (1) year of experience working as a Monitor Technician. * Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score.
