# Internal Posting Dates: March 22, 2024-March 27, 2024 Pay Range: $36.69-$48.10* CHMC #Hemo Mini Unit- RN # Full Time- Day Shift- 6a-4p # Requisition 7325 #Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving dialysis in both an inpatient and ambulatory setting. Strong emphasis on psychosocial support through patient teaching and interpersonal communication. This nurse interacts with a population of chronically ill, long-term patients and must perform technical skills repeatedly with scrupulous attention to detail. Patience and a sense of humor are critical to patient/staff relationships. On call rotation will be required. Qualifications: 1.# Current N.Y.S. RN license required 2.# Current BLS Certification 3.# Eighteen (18) months experience in nursing care of patients receiving maintenance dialysis preferred. 4.# Completion of the basic CAPD course 5.# Demonstrates knowledge of growth # development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care. 6.# Demonstrates interest in professional growth and development. 7.# Mini-EKG course preferred. 8.# One (1) year previous critical care or Med/Surg nursing experience preferred. *The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
