Short Description * This OR Nurse Coordinator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. * Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site. * This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas. * Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required. * Participates in cross training in other specialty areas. * Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects. * Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites. Experience Required * 1 year OR RN experience required; 1 year of specialty experience preferred. * OR RN- must have completed Peri-Op 101 or possess at least 3 years' experience. Education Requirements * BSN preferred; Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing. License/Certification Requirements * Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse) * Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) * CNOR Preferred
