In accordance with professional Advance Practice Nurse standards and physician collaboration, coordinates care of the adult medical patient, develops treatment plans, provides treatment as indicated, and monitors clinical activities. Uses evidence-based guidelines for care. Utilizes effective communication methods to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and patient support/advocacy. Maintains a culturally sensitive and customer focused manner to promote patient satisfaction. The Bilingual Nurse Practitioner Internal Medicine will: * Assess and provide care for the patients under the direction of the collaborating physician. * Document care provided in the medical record. * Provide educational activities which promote quality patient care. Requirements: * Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. * Currently Advance Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey. * Currently CDS and DEA required. * Master's degree in nursing required. * Two (2) years experience in specialty strongly preferred. * Certified as a nurse practitioner in the State of New Jersey within area of specialty. * BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association. Schedule: 5-8 HR shifts and occasional 1/2 Saturdays Grade 132
