MAT Nurse Supervisor

Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. The MAT Nurse Supervisor will provide clinical and non-clinical supervision to MAT Nurses. Coordinate provider site coverage and direct MAT Nurse operations. Provide opioid overdose prevention and harm reduction training. Participate in grant initiatives, quality projects, and other duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provides supervision to MAT Nurses in the program, including nurse work schedules, nurse coverage, managing client escalations related to care and maintaining up-to-date clinical competencies of staff. 2. Supports hiring, orientation and training of staff on MAT services and overdose prevention programs. 3. Provide opioid overdose prevention and harm reduction training. 4. Maintain opioid overdose and harm reduction supplies at sites. 5. Maintain grant and program initiatives and complete reports on time. 6. Participate in organization and community collaborative meetings. 7. Collaborate and develop workflows between internal departments and community partners. 8. Promotes organizational philosophy and objectives of the MAT Program to patients, families, staff, and the community. 9. Participates in the Quality Improvement program meetings including identifying quality issues and opportunities for improving quality of care. 10. Maintains professional competence through participation in staff development and educational program. EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors Degree, RN License, BLS certification, Infection Control certification Preferred: Masters Degree SALARY: Hourly rate: $50-55/hour
