PD RN , Post Coronary Care Unit

RWJBH is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Post Coronary Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus, This is a per diem, day position, Please note the hours of this position are 7:00 am - 7:30 pm Responsibilities: * Assess and monitor patients' cardiovascular conditions, including vital signs and telemetry data interpretation, * Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and ensure patient safety by monitoring for potential side effects, * Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, * Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and necessary lifestyle modifications, * Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record, * Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times, * Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and overall care quality, Qualifications: * Current active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New Jersey, * American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS for Healthcare Providers required * Advanced Cardiac Life support ACLS for healthcare providers required, * Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN required, * 1 year of experience working in a telemetry acute care setting required, * Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, * Dedication to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive patient experiences, Our hospital is committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive work environment that values teamwork and individual contributions, Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals today!
