Registered Nurse, Epilepsy Center
Harborview Medical Center Registered Nurse 2, Epilepsy Center. Full time, days. The Registered Nurse for the Regional Epilepsy Center works as part of a multidiscipline team to provide care for epilepsy and EEG patients. This position is often the first contact point for patients. Main job duties: * Act upon and triage calls as appropriate * Appropriately document patient care * Effectively communicate with patients and providers * Perform nursing assessments on patients having or have just had a seizure * Perform necessary medical review * Call patient with appointment discharge follow-up Requires minimum two years RN work experience, including acute care experience. Neuro experience desirable. Wound care experience desirable.
