We also offer physical therapy in Key West using a multi-joint strength system, in addition to other innovative systems and equipment for customized rehabilitation. As an RN in Behavioral Health with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will spend your day… * Evaluate assigned patients and plans, implement and document nursing care. * You will assist physicians during examinations and procedures. * Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse. * Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals, and teaching the patients and their families to understand the conditions, medications, and self-care skills needed. * You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. * A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. * Typically you will report to a manager or head of the unit/department. In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of… * An Associate's Degree and certification as an RN, in Florida * Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. * Two years of experience is preferred but not required.
