Surgical Technician

Specialty Surgery Center is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility in San Antonio, Texas. Our surgeons specialize in ophthalmology and oral surgery. We believe in compassionate medicine, where our focus is on each individual patient. Our experienced surgeons have dedicated themselves to caring for patients within the surrounding communities. We are currently searching for a Full Time Surgical Technologist, preferably with Central Sterile experience, in a busy, fast-paced, multi-specialty, ambulatory surgery center. The job is Monday - Friday with no call or holidays. You must be able to work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. SURGICAL TECHNICIAN: The position will require the Surgical Technologist to work under the supervision of a surgeon in the role of a scrub person to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. Major responsibilities include ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments. Graduate of an approved surgical technology program; National Certification Preferred, BLS certification required; Experience preferred but not required; Membership in CST association is preferred.
