RN Weekend Supervisor

Shift Schedule: 7a-7p Friday, Saturday & Sunday Your Role in the Organization The primary purpose of the job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. (RN) Must have valid CPR/BLS certification or be willing to obtain during orientation. Essential Elements of your Job * Lead and support all functions related to quality for care for our residences. * Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. * Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies. * Complete processes and paperwork related to Admission, transfer and discharge of our residents. * Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians Order Form. Transcribe physicians orders to resident charts, medication records treatment/care plans, as required. * Chart nurses notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the residents response to the care.
