Monitor Technician, Progressive Cardiac Care Unit

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. REQUIRED * High school diploma or GED * Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. * One (1) or more years of experience working as a Monitor Technician * Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score. PREFERRED * CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.
