Responsibilities What we do: The Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse focuses on post-operative care We provide excellent patient experience by performing bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and leader rounding We work collaboratively with the Surgical and Procedure teams, all levels of providers and other areas within St. Joseph Medical Center. We inspire to work together with the patient to maintain pain control, set goals for the shift and start early ambulation for best outcomes We specialize in wound care such as ostomies and negative pressure vascular, we place the lines, tubes and drains. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred One year of related work experience is preferred Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
