Here are some qualities we're looking for on our Intermediate Care/Tele team: * communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition * directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the DOU Unit * directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients * communicates with physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology * able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment * maintains patient privacy and confidentiality Qualifications Education and Work Experience * Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred * active Texas state Registered Nursing (RN) license, required * current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current, required * current ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current * minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care, preferred #RN #registerednurse #Nurse #NurseLife #telemetry #StaffNurse #RegisteredNurse #DallasNurse #Dallas #Mesquite #LI-MB4
