Pharmacy Tech - Sterile Compounding

Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. REQUIRED * Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia * High school diploma or equivalent * Non-certified technicians will have two (2) years from the date of employment to successfully complete a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam recognized by the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy and certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA). * In lieu of certification, Pharmacy students with Georgia Board of Pharmacy Intern License. PREFERRED * Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
