RN Nurse Navigator - Trios Gastroenterology

The Gastroenterology Nurse Navigator functions on the team as an advocate, screener, and educator for patients by facilitating timely access to quality care in clinic and endoscopy lab. He/she will serve as a liaison throughout the clinic and in coordination with other departments within Trios. Education Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Experience Minimum 3 years' acute care nursing experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required. Licensure/Certifications Current Washington State RN license and BLS required. Gastroenterology certified nurse preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Organization - strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Communication - ability to concisely communicate with all levels of staff. * Problem solving - ability to assess issues, plan action and execute on plan to successful outcomes. * Ability to function both independently and as a team player. * Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. * Ability to develop supportive and team building environment.
