Not just a number
I made the switch from another agency a couple years ago and am really glad I did. I have been traveling for a total of almost 5 years, so I have a pretty decent gauge from a pre and post pandemic perspective. Fusion checks all of my boxes and then some as a company (day one benefits/PTO after you have worked with them for a set amount of hours, etc). As we know a recruiter can make or break your experience and Josh K. is all of the things I could ask for in a great recruiter. I know he truly cares and has my back. Glad I found Fusion!!

Straight forward with no games.
My experience has been very positive with Fusion. I like my recruiter and he is very responsive to me. The pay at the jobs seems to be near the top compared to others when I have checked. I also get PTO after working a few contracts. It hasn't always been perfect but I don't have any significant complaints.

Insulting, untrustworthy recruiters that only offer lowest bill rate
The first recruiter I spoke with was rude, unprofessional and completely inflexible with me over the basic contract questions and experience and employment needs that literally have to be answered or met to ensure the submission is successful. It seems to be commonplace now for recruiters to use backhanded insulting comments such as 'LOL', 'Good luck with that', (Nurse) recruiters talking down to travel nurses about their credentials experience (I have 11 yrs experience, 6 certifications & on average 2-6 positive references from employers) and saying 'we prefer an experienced nurse' even though you're perfectly qualified pass all tests at 90% with 2-6 positive references as a way to insult you and ditch you in onboarding if you find out they've offered you their lowest bill rate instead of the highest bill rate for a position.

Fusion Review
I have had 3 contracts with Fusion. I was given a recruiter who I "thought" cared about me and wanted me to be successful. However, there would be days on end where I did not get a reply from her -on very important onboarding questions. Little to no communication and I have been bounced around to 3 different recruiters during my time here with no explanation. I'd randomly receive a text saying "Hey, I'm your new recruiter.. ". Its like nobody knew what I was currently doing and had not even looked at my current contract. Since my first contract the pay has significantly decreased. Little to no transparency. I had planned to stay with them for as long as I traveled. I will be looking elsewhere when it is time for my next contract.
