Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to emergent, identified needs. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and ENA standards in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support required
    • Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas of compact license
    • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support required
    • TNCC preferred
    • Certified Emergency Nurse preferred
    • Associate Degree required, BSN must be obtained within 48 months of employment start date
    • 2 years of Emergency Room experience
