This position can work from home within the Sutter Health Northern California footprint, but has regular onsite work at ambulatory and acute facilities.Implements, supports, and leads the integrated solutions for application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS). Provides expert application and technical ssupport to ensure that applications are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained. In addition to production support, leads more complex triage and troubleshooting assistance to the product clients. Engages in problem management identification, classification, and resolution activities within the applications. Lastly, leads large and complex applications efforts as well as provides support to other team members as a mentor.
Highly desired experience:
• Radiation Oncology experience
• Rad Onc mixed vendor environment with a focus on OIS/TPS systems
• Support of clinical applications
• General understanding of technical infrastructure and dependencies
• Knowledge of DICOM & HL7
• Project Management, design, testing, and technical functions
• Software upgrades, installations, and maintenance
• Implementation, troubleshooting and training
• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft, Citrix, Remote access
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance guidelines relevant to radiation oncology IS systems
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Expert knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies.
Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
Working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure, as well as Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
Advanced understanding of downstream applications and core systems integration.
Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Pay Range is $42.98 to $64.47 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
