Supervisor Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Medicine - Westchester Campus

Location Bronxville, New York Shift: Rotating (United States of America) Description: Supervisor Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Medicine - Westchester Campus We are seeking a Supervisor Physician Assistant who will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations for the PA team in the Hospitalist Medince Service Line. The Supervisor PA will provide supervision and clinical oversight of the PA team. The Supervisor PA will work under supervision of a Chief PA and/or Director, Dept. of PA Services to ensure all standard policies and procedures are followed and credentialing guideless are met. The Supervisor PA will promote a positive, nurturing and stimulating work environment for all staff. In conjunction with supervising MD and Chief PA, the Supervisor PA will conduct performance related reviews and metrics. The Supervisor PA will also work with the Chief PA to create and maintain the schedule, including managing overtime. Other responsibilities include working with Chief PA to recruit and hire staff, training of new and existing employees, and special projects as assigned. This position is a Full Time opportunity with rotating days, nights, and weekends (Varied 12 hour shifts) at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, right across the Metro North Station. Preferred Criteria * Prior experience developing or managing staff. Required Criteria * Minimum of five years of inpatient experience. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies. * Current NYS licensure. * DEA Registration. * NCCPA certification.
